The National Cancer Institute is a resource developed for breast cancer patients to explore breast cancer prevention, screening, treatment, statistics, research, clinical trials, and more.
The National Cervical Cancer Coalition helps women, family members, and caregivers battle the personal issues related to cervical cancer and HPV and to advocate for cervical health in all women by promoting prevention through education about early vaccination and regular screening.
A published report by the American Cancer Society of current cancer statistics in the US. The report includes risk factors, screening, incidence, survival, and mortality rates by state, race, and ethnicity.
The Maine Cancer Plan follows the cancer journey from prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, palliative care, through end-of-life care; it lays out goals, objectives, and sets of actions we can take that are proven to be effective. Importantly, the plan seeks to improve the lives of all Maine people and thus recognizes that the impacts of cancer are felt unevenly by our neighbors across the state.
